Online Physiotherapy????

February 8, 2017

The most common question i get at the moment is, 'online physiotherapy?? you can't do that!'

Well, yes you can!

It isn't the most appropriate choice for some conditions, but research shows that for some people and it achieves exactly the same results as seeing your physiotherapist in person.

By using technology we are able to come to your home or workplace and really understand how your condition is affecting you ability to live your life to your full potential. This can be achieved in real time, or you are able to forward all the information required using video and email.

We can use a range of remote monitoring devices to gather information from you, and then design an appropriate management program to help you manage your condition, will continuous access to your healthcare team for support when you need it.

This allows us to provide services to those living and working in remote locations, or those members of the community who have physical impairments or mobility issues that restrict their ability to travel.

What do you need for an online consultation?

Internet connection and a Computer / Smart phone or Tablet device with a camera, speakers and microphone.

We may ask you to download a free app (security encrypted) to share management plans and exercise programs.

What to expect?

Once you have made a booking, a new patient pack will be emailed to you to complete prior to your consultation.

This information allows us to obtain all relevant information to get the most out of your time.

We will video call you at the designated time, to perform a thorough assessment and formulate a management plan.

Really?

yes, really.

Not sure if this is the right option for you? then get in touch here to arrange a free 15minute discussion to see if we are able to help.

No obligation to make further bookings, we would just like to share what we do!
